The Hay Barn is part of a storm restoration project Brian Darnell managed as the general contractor. The roof, siding, and guttering were damaged by wind and large hail stones.  Upgraded from the 5V Crimp style metal roof panel to the 24 gauge Maxima ADV standing seam roof panel by McElroy Metal in Hartford Green.  Additional work included replacing wood purlins, rafter tails, and fascia backer boards.  The crow’s beak overhang on the North end of the barn was made larger and added a small overhang to the South end of the roof line as well.  The eaves were extended out and enclosed with CertainTeed Perimeter solid soffit panels. Installed hand fabricated radius steel fascia trim and 7″ D-style steel seamless gutters also in Hartford Green.
