The Mission House sets at the entrance of the church campus which was part of a storm restoration project managed by Brian Darnell, and added-on a covered front porch and made a few exterior design upgrades. Brian Darnell also donated all new energy efficient vinyl windows and exterior doors and organized a group of men from the church to help with the replacement. Windows were Edgemont vinyl series by Vywinco, LoE triple glaze, foam-filled frames, Craftsman style grids. Exterior doors were insulated steel by Masonite, Craftsman style.
Large hail stones damaged the shingle roof, aluminum fascia trim, siding and guttering. Roofing shingles installed were Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Shingles in Chateau Green. Upgraded from aluminum siding to the CertainTeed premium vinyl collections in White. Installed aluminum fascia trims and 5″ K-style aluminum seamless gutters in Woodland Green. The upgraded siding by CertainTeed: Carolina Beaded siding on the main level, 8″ Board & Batten siding at the gable ends, Cedar Impressions Double 7″ Straight Edge Perfection Shingle siding also at the gable ends, 3 1/2″ Perimeter hidden vent soffit panels, and Restoration Millwork Exterior Trim for the frieze boards, outside corners and shadow boards.
