MASTER BEDROOM SUITE
With this project Darnell-Group added additional living space to a 9 year old home. The 2-1/2 story room addition is a master bedroom suite with an en-suite on the 2nd floor. The attic area is an extension to the third floor of the existing home. Scope of work included framing, roofing, windows, siding, soffit and fascia.
Bathroom Remodel ~ St. Charles, MO
BRINGING BACK THE PAST
Darnell-Group was contacted to restore an extensively water damaged home that was built in the mid 40’s. This bathroom was one of the many rooms in the house that sustained water damage. We removed all of the damaged building materials back to the studs and then reconstructed the bathroom from scratch. We took into consideration some of the important design details from this era of a home. Mosaic tile for the floor and subway style tiles for the walls. A new cast iron tub and toilet from the Kohler classic bath collection. Oil rubbed bronze Moen tub/shower and vanity faucets. Custom made vanity with quartz countertop, coordinating mirror and light fixtures finish off the details of the bathroom remodel.
Pub Style Wet Bar ~ O’Fallon, MO
We removed the existing bar that consisted of 2×4, plywood, laminate countertops and curtains. In place of the old bar, we built an English pub style wet bar and updated the lighting
Stone Fireplace ~ St. Louis, MO
We removed the old Z-brick veneer and paneling, and then installed a natural ledge stone with a new wood mantel. We a lso replaced the carpet with wide plank hand-scraped hardwood flooring. Other work included new baseboard trim, paint and an Energy Star rated patio door.
